Compare Western, Chaldean, Lo Shu and psychomatrix operations using the same name and date. See why different results need different explanations.

A different result does not necessarily mean that you entered something incorrectly. Western numerology, Chaldean name calculations, Lo Shu grids and psychomatrix procedures do not always use the same parts of your input or produce the same kind of answer.
Numerus calculates only its declared modern Western method. The other approaches below are editorial comparisons of named sources, not additional calculators or a ranking of which reading is “truest.”
The same input, four different operations
For a controlled comparison, take the fictional name SARA and the birth date 15 July 1990. Keeping the spelling and date fixed makes it easier to see what the method changes.

A count of 0 means no occurrences in that cell. The digit 0 has no cell of its own.

This is only the cited source's example. It is not an implementation for other dates or a psychological assessment.
The Western results above come from Numerus's engine. The remaining rows are fixed illustrations of the cited rules. They do not imply that Numerus has implemented the rest of those systems.
Why SARA changes under a different alphabet
For SARA, check the letter values first. In Numerus’s alphabet, S contributes 1, R contributes 9, and each A contributes 1. The total of 12 reduces to 3. The method guide lets you explore letters separately.
In the compared Chaldean alphabet, S contributes 3, R contributes 2, and A remains 1. The spelling is identical; the letter-to-value mapping has changed. The exact table used for this comparison is identified in the bibliography.
That example does not authorize mixing the Chaldean total with Numerus's Expression interpretation. A familiar label is not a guarantee that the underlying concept, reduction choices or interpretation are interchangeable.
What if both calculations give the same result? Replace SARA with ANA. Both tables assign A=1 and N=5:
Second fictional name: ANA.
Numerus: 1 + 5 + 1 = 7.
Compared Chaldean alphabet: 1 + 5 + 1 = 7.
For ANA, the agreement comes from the letters used. For SARA, the different assignments for S and R reveal the change of alphabet. One matching result therefore does not establish that two services use the same method. Check the table and the steps even when the final number agrees.
This comparison isolates the alphabet. Name selection, combination and interpretation require further rules documented in the source notes. The example is not a complete Chaldean system and does not validate an ancient origin or prediction.
A grid is not a Life Path with more decoration
In the Lo Shu birth-date grid compared here, digits from the complete date occupy their corresponding cells. Zero is omitted and repetitions are retained. The demonstration is limited to this first grid; it does not combine other personal numbers with it.
For our date, 15 / 7 / 1990, count two occurrences of 1, two of 9, and one each of 5 and 7. Do not add the digits before placing them: that would lose the repetitions the grid displays. SARA does not enter this operation, and we add no results derived from the date.
In the diagram, “9: 2” means two occurrences of the digit 9, not a result of 2 or an additional 2. Likewise, “4: 0” means we did not encounter the digit 4. This zero is an occurrence count displayed by Numerus, distinct from the digit 0 omitted from 1990. The cells count the input; they do not measure abilities or personal shortcomings.
Why psychomatrix needs its own rules
The fixed psychomatrix example starts with 15 July 1990 and forms four additional numbers. The third subtracts twice the day’s first digit from the first total. This is already a different operation from counting date digits.
The four displayed values are additional numbers I–IV, without the final grid or its interpretation. The 5 in the second position comes from 3 + 2 here. The Life Path 5 above comes from combining the date components under Numerus's rules. Equal values do not make these positions interchangeable.
The documentation covers this particular example, not every rule for other dates. We therefore do not offer it as a general calculator. Psychological terminology does not make its output a validated assessment.
What to check when two sites disagree
Compare in this order:
- Input: the same date, full year, calendar and exact name spelling?
- Position: a whole-date value, a day-only value, a name total or a digit count?
- Rules: the same alphabet, reduction order, treatment of master numbers and added values?
- Output: one reduced result, a compound total or a grid?
- Interpretation: does the text belong to the method that actually produced the result?
If those details match and the arithmetic still differs, there may be a calculation error worth investigating. If the details differ, choosing the more flattering paragraph will not explain the discrepancy.
